Climate Change
As the sun's energy warms up the Earth certain “greenhouse” gases in the atmosphere prevent some of this heat from escaping. Human activity such as burning fossil fuels and cutting down rainforests affects our climate by releasing even more gases into the atmosphere. The initial consequences can already be seen – temperatures are rising, glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising and floods/droughts are becoming more common. -
